How a term works.
A creator lists a share of one pump.fun coin's creator fees for 7 or 30 days, at a price in SOL. A buyer pays that price. Until the term ends, the buyer collects that share of every creator fee. Then the share goes back to the creator.
On chain
There is no custom program. The creator signs a transfer of the fee sharing authority to the escrow wallet. After the buyer pays, the escrow sets the fee shares: the buyer gets the sold share, the creator keeps the rest. A keeper distributes creator fees every hour. At maturity the shares return to the creator, and the authority follows once no live term remains on that coin.
Price
The buyer pays the asking price to the creator, plus a platform fee of 2.5 percent on top. Hold 1,000,000 $FEES and the platform fee is 0 SOL.
Past fees come from chain history. They do not promise future fees.
Limits
A coin can have at most 10 shareholders, at most 4 live terms, and at most 90 percent of fees sold across those terms.
Risks
The escrow wallet holds the fee sharing authority during a term. Buyers and sellers rely on it to return shares on time.
Fees depend on trading. A coin can earn nothing during a term.
